Hey there, my name is Teresa Holbrooks.
My husband David and I opened the doors to Southern Scrapbook in May 2005. Scared to death, we took the leap of Faith and God Blessed us. Thanks to all my wonderful customers. Without you, I wouldn’t be here and now I can’t imagine myself doing anything else!
Most of my scrapbooking revolves around our kids. They might not always appreciate my selection of photos I use and post in the store but I think they appreciate the fact that they don’t have to worry about forgetting special moments in their lives.
I have to be honest, I love my job because I love scrapbooking. I love scrapbooking because a story or memory is told with every page. People ask me all the time why I started this business. When my Grandmothers passed away I realized that even though I knew them very well, I didn’t know the answers to questions I had about my heritage or old photos. Our parents and grandparents are full of memories and information (good and bad), if we only take the time to listen and take notes, of course.
People tell me all the time that they are not creative, you don’t have to be to scrapbook! Your work is your own unique style, if you like it then it’s perfect….. Things to keep in mind:
With a selection of over 2200 different patterned papers to choose from
come by Southern Scrapbook today for a little inspiration. Remember, if we
don't preserve our memories they will be forgotten.
